The installation of BIO.K.CID+® was necessary for the disinfections of the distribution channels of the water so the spreading of diarrhea from one pig onto the other was prevented through putting in security the watering troughs. The results are clear: increase of the number of piglets per sow, demerit diminishing, diminishing of veterinarian costs and proper watering toughs.
The use of BIO.K.CID+® is very reliable and creates the possibility for realistic treatment of water purification.

Since we are using the chlorine biocide, we do not have any more problems with biofilm, neither with the urine of the sows, the piglets are healthier and the water in the watering troughs is of excellent quality. The payback on our investment was within a year accomplished.
A single regret: not having known BIO.K.CID+® for a longer time.

With water pulled out of a test drilling, we needed a complete solution like the one which Neptune had launched, one which understands how the water should be purified and a solution for disinfections; BIO.K.CID+®
The results were quickly perceptible: the diarrhea among the piglets and other diseases were rapidly disappeared and the pigs showed better growth and behavior of cattle trail. The investment was earned back in less than 18 months.

With a decline of over more than 2 years, the BIO.K.CID+® has been a great improvement on the hygiene, it has removed the biofilm in the distribution network and also in the kettle. The quality of the nourishment has been improved a lot and the results are very positive.
The diminishing percentage has been declined from 4,5% to 0,5%, the investment was earned back in only 18 months. The process corresponds to the precept DGS/VS4/2000/166 and the system is perfectly autonomous. The purification products are usable during the whole year and because of the system functions very reliable, it does not require a special surveillance.
